RICH IN MINERALS
Antler bones consist of approx. 54% calcium, which is good for bone structure. Antler bones also contain approx. 44% organic substances in which rich minerals are found.
EXTRA-LONG CHEWING FUN
Current chewing products on the market such as animal ears, tendons or skins taste good, but dogs eat them within 30-45 minutes. With Hirschalm Kau-Stix, your dog will have weeks of fun, as antler bones are very robust.
DID YOU KNOW THAT DEER SHED THEIR ANTLERS EVERY YEAR?
Kau-Stix are produced from shed red and fallow deer antlers. Deer lose their antlers once a year as part of their natural antler cycle and new antlers grow after a resting period.

GREAT CHEWING DRIVE
Dogs of all sizes and breeds have a need to chew that helps them relax. Chewing bones calms them and helps them getting used to new surroundings. Young dogs in particular have an increased need to chew, which can be satisfied in a completely natural manner with Hirschalm Kau-Stix.
VERY CLEAN
Many chewing products for dogs leave spots on carpets or parquets. Our Kau-Stix do not get sticky and do not leave any spots. Many chewing articles have a very strong smell – whereas Kau-Stix are almost odorless.
RED DEER AND FALLOW DEER
We offer our red deer classics either whole or cut in half along the length. For beginners, we recommend the half Kau-Stix, as your dog will reach the inside of the antler bone faster and thus be rewarded for his effort earlier. Fallow deer antler bones are somewhat softer than those of the red deer. This makes our fallow deer Kau-Stix ideal for “casual chewers” or older dogs.
MADE IN AUSTRIA
Our company is headquartered in Rainfeld, Lower Austria. Shed antlers are washed, cut and polished by hand in our plant. The batch numbers on our labels allow us to provide information on the region of Austria or Hungary the processed Kau-Stix came from.
ECOLOGICAL
We promote an environmentally conscious corporate culture. This is why we package our products for shipping in cardboard packaging. We use wood shavings instead of plastics as a filling material. We use cardboard, yarn and metal for labeling our products.
